Collector rate (also known as circle rate or guidance value) is the minimum property value set by the District Collector for property registration purposes in Haryana.


In Faridabad, these rates are specified village/locality-wise with different rates for:

  • Agricultural Land (कृषि): Irrigated (चाही) and Flood-prone (सैलाबी)
  • Residential (निवासीय): Plots and built-up properties
  • Commercial (व्यवसायिक): Shops, offices, commercial plots

The official collector rate notification includes several special rules:


Road Proximity Premium:

  • Land on state highway/scheduled roads (2 acres depth): +25% extra
  • Land on other roads: +25% extra

CLU (Change of Land Use) Multipliers:

  • Residential Plotted Colony: 3× Agricultural rate
  • Residential Group Housing: 4× Agricultural rate
  • Commercial: 5× Agricultural rate
  • Warehouse/Industrial: 2× Agricultural rate
  • Gairmumkin above 2 kanal: 2× Agricultural rate
  • Gairmumkin below 2 kanal: Residential rate

Built-up Property Rates:

  • Residential: ₹1,500/sq ft
  • Commercial: ₹1,200/sq ft
  • Industrial: ₹1,000/sq ft

Note: Up to 25 sq yards is treated as commercial.
