How Charges are Calculated

Step 1: Determine Duty Base Value

The duty base is calculated as: max(circle_value, declared_price). If your declared price is lower than circle rate, the circle rate value will be used.

Step 2: Calculate Stamp Duty

Stamp Duty = Duty Base Value × Stamp Duty Rate

Step 3: Calculate Registration Fee

Registration Fee = Duty Base Value × Registration Rate

For a flat worth ₹50 lakhs (circle value), purchased by a male buyer in General area:

  • • Duty Base: ₹50,00,000
  • • Stamp Duty (6%): ₹3,00,000
  • • Registration (1%): ₹50,000
  • Total: ₹3,50,000
